Create an ECTN/BESC/ARCCLA/waiver for Angola

Are you shipping cargo to Angola via local ports or possible transit ports in neighbor countries?

With Magnotrade you can create the mandatory Certificado de Embarque fast and easy.

Requested documents for Angola ECTN/ARCCLA/waiver issuance are:

  • Dated Bill of Lading (draft is accepted)
  • Commercial invoice
  • Detailed freight invoice
  • Documento Unico (D.U. - provisional import license issued in Angola)

Following supplementary information is furthermore required:

  • Consignee taxpayer number (NIF), telephone number and email address
  • Shipper's taxpayer number (NIF/VAT), telephone number and email address
  • Country of origin of the cargo
  • ETA at the discharging port
  • IMO Class (optional)
  • Incoterm

It’s important to issue an ECTN/BESC/ARCCLA/waiver as cargoes arriving without valid ECTN/BESC/ARCCLA/waiver will be blocked for delivery by the local customs and high penalties are being charged to the receiver and shipping line.

From January 2023 onwards, the electronic version of final ARCCLA certificate with signature & stamp will serve as the original.

  • Another Key Point:
    • Changes to the DU after validation must be handled by the importer/receiver at destination.

After validation any changes regarding the DU will then be handled in Angola at the Ministry of Commerce.

The consignee files for the DU. It is an Import License and is based on the goods that are being imported.

An ARCCLA form reflects the information of your supporting documents. When requested, we will then fill out this form on your behalf, contact us for more information.
